Solution / Context
Training, Operations & Safety Simulation
Convert approved procedures, equipment knowledge and safety scenarios into animation, desktop interaction or VR practice. Learners can build familiarity before working with real equipment, while formal instruction and operational authority remain with the client.
Situation framing
Combine capabilities around a business outcome
The approved procedure is the source of truth. Correct actions, hazards, feedback and learner context are agreed with the client’s subject owner before detailed 3D and interaction work begins.
Desktop, touchscreen and VR serve different learning conditions. The digital experience supports familiarity and practice, while qualifications, real operations, drills and supervision remain outside the simulation.
Typical stakeholders
- Corporate safety, learning and equipment-management teams
- Equipment manufacturers and installation or service-training teams
- Vocational schools, training centres and specialist education providers
- Exhibition and public-safety teams planning guided learning experiences
Buying situations
- Introduce equipment, spaces and process flow before hands-on training
- Rehearse approved operating, inspection, assembly or maintenance sequences
- Visualize hazards, incident scenarios and approved emergency procedures
- Support instructor-led practice on desktop, touchscreen or VR
Solution makeup
How content, applications and channels work together
- 01
Learning objectives, scenario script, task sequence and review checkpoints
- 02
3D assets for equipment, environments, tools and roles
- 03
Instructional animation, desktop interaction or VR practice build
- 04
Prompts, error feedback, progress records or a defined assessment module
- 05
Target-device builds, facilitator notes and an acceptance record
Project inputs
What the solution needs to begin
- Approved procedures, training material, manuals and safety rules
- Equipment drawings, models, photos, video and site references
- Hazard list, scenario conditions and definitions of correct or incorrect actions
- Learning outcomes, learner profile, assessment rules and named reviewers
- Target devices, venue, network, identity and privacy requirements
Delivery path
From business context to validated channels
- 01
Approve the procedure: establish learning goals, correct actions, prohibited actions, hazards and learner profile
- 02
Prototype practice and feedback: test task order, prompts, error states, exit and reset behaviour
- 03
Build the learning experience: produce the environment and interaction with milestone reviews
- 04
Validate with facilitators: test in the intended setting and hand over releases and guidance
Fit and limits
What this solution does not assume
- Digital practice does not replace regulated qualifications, real equipment work, on-site drills or professional supervision
- Content follows client-approved procedures; MetaZen does not define safety standards, passing thresholds or operational authority
- The simulation does not connect to or control real equipment by default; identity, records, hardware and learning-system integration are separate scope items
Decision questions
Questions to answer before selecting the route
01Does a simulation have to be VR?
No. Desktop works well for broad access, touchscreens for guided display, and VR when spatial judgement or embodied practice adds value.
02Can it recreate an incident or hazardous scenario?
It can visualize an approved case for recognition and rehearsal, but remains a supplement to real drills and compliant instruction.
03Can the experience record progress or results?
Yes, if identity, fields, privacy, storage and export requirements are defined. A standalone practice build may suit other cases better.
